Privacy policy

We process personal data only as far as we need it to run this website, to handle reservations and to process orders. This policy follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

1. Controller

For any question about data protection and to exercise your rights, reach us at that address.

2. Visiting the website

When you open the website, our hosting provider automatically stores technical data in server log files: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system. We need this data to run the website securely and reliably. It is not merged with other data and is deleted after 30 days at the latest.

Hosting provider: Netlify, Inc., USA. The website is delivered from their servers.

3. No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services. The typeface is loaded from our own server; visiting the site transmits no data to Google or any other font provider.

4. Contact and reservations by e-mail

When you write to us or reserve a piece, we process your e-mail address, your name, the size you want and the content of your message. We use this to answer your request, hold the size for you and tell you when it goes on sale.

5. Order, payment and shipping

For an order we additionally process your delivery address and the payment details. We pass them on only to the parties needed to complete the order:

• Shipping: Swiss Post Ltd, Switzerland, and for shipments abroad the postal services of the destination country
• Payment: the payment service provider you pay through, and your bank

6. Instagram and TikTok

We link to our Instagram and TikTok profiles. These are plain links: data is only transmitted once you click them. From then on the privacy policies of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. and TikTok Technology Limited apply.

7. Disclosure abroad

We do not sell personal data and do not pass it on for advertising. Where one of the providers named above is located outside Switzerland, we disclose data only to countries with adequate data protection according to the list of the Federal Council (for example EU and EEA states) or secure it with the standard contractual clauses. For shipments abroad, the postal and customs authorities of the destination country receive the data needed for delivery.

8. Retention

• Reservations and enquiries: until they are settled, at the latest 12 months after the last contact.
• Orders, invoices and payment records: 10 years, because the law requires this for business records (Art. 958f CO).

9. Data security

We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures against loss and unauthorised access. The website is delivered encrypted over HTTPS.

10. Your rights

You have the right at any time to

• ask what data we process about you,
• have incorrect data corrected,
• request deletion of your data, unless we must keep it by law,
• object to the processing,
• receive your data in a common electronic format.

11. Changes

We adapt this policy when our processes or providers change, for example when an online shop is added. The version published on this page applies.
